What is Cravecharts.com all about?
Cravecharts.com is a music social ranking and discovery site. We're a digital music distribution platform that provides artists with everything they need to engage millions of listeners on the Internet, allowing fans to popularize their music simply by listening, sharing & downloading. Our platform's goal is to channel as much revenue back to our artists (80%), while providing them with an effective way to stand out amongst their competition.
Who owns and operates Cravecharts.com? Where is it based?
Cravecharts.com is owned and operated by Cravecast Limited Liability Company (known as Cravecast Sdn Bhd incorporated in Malaysia with Company No. 800376-M). We are based in Malaysia.
What are Cravecounts?
Cravecounts are accumulated scores by song plays, sharing and downloads, displayed as one simple score. The more a particular song is being played, shared or downloaded, that song will accumulate more scores that eventually increase its Cravecounts. Hence, a song with higher Cravecounts has higher demand and popularity!
Can anyone register for an account?
Yes, everyone besides music-abusers and web-abusers are welcomed to register for a user account.
Are minors under the age of 13 allowed to use the site?
Yes but with parental consent of course.
Are there any charges when I stream music on Cravecharts.com?
Streaming all songs on Cravecharst.com is absolutely free!
Can I download the songs? How much does it cost?
Sure! Show your support towards your favourite artists by downloading their songs. Each song is valued at USD0.80 and we channel 80% of the revenue back to the artists.
Why are your prices listed in US Dollars (USD) and not Malaysian Ringgit (MYR)?
Though we are based in Malaysia, but our portal is catered for the international audience. For this reason, we feel that dealing in the US currency would be a better option to suit the needs of all buyers.
What payment methods are accepted?
Presently, we only accept payments by credit card via WorldPay.
I don't have a credit card. How can I get around buying songs then?
We are constantly looking at integrating more payment methods but unfortunately we are currently only accepting payments by credit card via WorldPay. Any inconvenience caused is very much regretted. Nonetheless, if you have any suggestions, drop us a line at info@cravecharts.com.
Why can't you accept Paypal?
Because Paypal is being a pain in the ass.
WorldPay is refusing my transactions! Why and how?
WorldPay protects us from fraudulent purchases by automatically refusing suspicious transactions. However, the criteria that they use may sometimes unintentionally refuse genuine purchases like yours. Any inconvenience caused is very much regretted. If your transaction is refused, please email us at info@cravecharts.com with your transaction details and we'll do our best to sort t out.
Is it safe to use my credit card details on Cravecharts.com?
Your credit card details do not come to us at all but straight over to the reliable WorldPay, which is an international credit card payment gateway under the arms of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Hence, you can shop at Cravecharts.com with a peace of mind!

What type of artists does Cravecharts.com accept?
All sorts! As long as you are passionate about your music and would like to share them with the world! However, we strive to ensure the music on our portal is worthy of all music fans to enjoy. This being said, there are a few criteria that we look for in the artists.
What are the criteria that you look for in the artists?
Basically, we will screen the quality of your recordings. Poorly recorded materials will not be accepted on Cravecharts.com.
Why should I put my music up on Cravecharts.com?
Many reasons! Apart from distributing your music to millions of music fans on the Internet, and getting back the bigger piece of the pie from sales, you get to be part of a music site that gives music fans the full control of determining whether your song makes it or breaks it; simply by playing, sharing and downloading! More importantly, you will be joining our family of music enthusiasts who believes your songs should not be shared among your circle of friends only.
How will Cravecounts affect my music on Cravecharts.com?
Each time someone plays, shares and downloads your song(s), your Cravecounts will increase and this will push the rankings of your song higher. Like the snowball effect, songs with high Cravecounts will eventually get more popular and exposure. Isn't that what every artists want?
How do I sign-up?
Just click on the "Artist Upload" button on the main page and follow the instructions shown on your screen.
What is the format needed?
Songs uploaded on Cravecharts.com should be in MP3 format and at 192kbps.
Are songs in other languages besides English allowed?
Sure! Though English is primarily preferred but songs sung in other languages are always welcomed. After all, music is a universal language!
Some of my songs are existing cover songs from other artists. Can I still sell them here?
Though we would prefer you not to upload cover songs, but as long as you have obtained permission from the rightful party, and the recording(s) belongs to you, then yes, you can sell them here.
I do not have a full-length album but a single with only 2 songs. Can I still join?
Yes but please bear in mind that the more songs you have under an album, the more opportunities you will have as an artist to be exposed through our Cravecounts system.
My songs are all instrumental. Can I still join?
Yes, as long as the quality of your recordings meet our standards.
I have uploaded my songs but why aren't they live yet?
This is because after you have created your account and uploaded your songs, we have to filter our bogus account creations and screen through the quality of the recordings.
How do I know how many of my songs are being sold?
Under your artist admin page, you will be able to view how many of your songs are being played, shared and purchased. These statistics will constantly be updated so you will be able to get the latest statistics.
